I love them they are very comfortableAfter 2 months of wear the treads worn down to smooth.I ordered these a size up from what I normally wear because I wanted to be able to put some pretty hefty arch support in them and knew I'd need a little extra room. Even without anything extra, just a pair of thin socks, I can't even get these on, they're way too tight!Even though these are very light, shoe is not very comfortable if you have to stand or walk in them for long periods of time.I needed some new work shoes and found these. They fit just right. The size was correct. The shoe slips on snugly. The laces are not really necessary. You could walk around with them untied and they would still stay on. The padding and the tightness around your ankle is kind of uncomfortable at first but you get used to it. The padded insole is fairly comfortable until it gets to my toes. The toe area feels like you are stepping on a grate. The upper is knitted but comfortable. It breathes well. Your feet don’t get sweaty. Even though I spilt some water on them my feet did not get wet. The fiber covering the top of your toes is very hard and holds up to just about any mishap. The sole of the shoe is soft and cushy. The shoes are very light weight to walk in. You can walk in them all day and not have tired feet. The only irritation would be under your toes. They are fairly attractive looking. The wideness of the front half of the sole of the shoe makes it look a little awkward but its not bad. Over all they are an improvement to this type of shoe. My old work shoes chaffed the sides of my feet near my toes where the hard fiber toe covering meets the remainder of the shoe. I am not sure why they cost so much. That may keep some people from purchasing them. However, I still would recommend these shoes to those who need a shoe that they can be on their feet all day in and that don't mind a little irritation at the toes.I've seen similar shoes at box stores in the $20-25 range, so I question the value.I've had problems with sizing with generic chinese brands, but this seems ok. I got the Mens 12.5, and compared it to my nike 12.5, and the length is identical. It says size 48 inside the shoe (which translates to a Mens 14), but just ignore that. However, these run narrow. The material is a thin, stretchy - definitely not leather or anywhere close. It's comfy and very breathable. But if you're trying to work in these, a splinter, nail, anything will punch through them very easily. It's not going to last long either. The insert is very thin, and not cut right. I had to trim it down to fit. I'm probably going to replace it.Underneath the insert is a very very hard insole. This is NOT going to be comfortable working in, walking in. Like I said, it's best to replace the insert right away. The sole is not a durable rubber material, it's a soft foam, and a bit slippery. Sole isn't going to last long either. I am concerned if I stepped directly on a nail, it would probably go right through these soles. The laces are basically there for decoration, it's got a neoprene type material that grips your ankle. Makes them easy to slip on and off, these can almost be described as slip on shoes. They stay in place pretty well unless you're working in mud or something like that. You can tighten the laces if you need to, but there is no tongue on these shoes, tightening the laces simply cinches the neoprene ankle part.I got them to have some lightweight easy slip-on shoes for working around the house, garden, on the cars, etc, with the added bonus of the steel toe. They work great for that purpose. But I would never wear these to a work site. These are by far the best fitting style of the Chinese indestructible shoes. I've ordered 3 now speerste styles over last couple years for my job. I wear 10.5 in everything and 10.5 fit perfect here. Will be ordering more just to keep in closet for when the market crashes and a tomatoes is 10$. Gl all
