Pros:-Great slip resistance on greasy and wet floors-Light weight / not bulky / no wide sole to trip over-Simple and stylish (for workshoes)Cons:-Little cushioning (simple insoles/arch supports work well with these shoes)-The part of the shoe where the laces are, is very stiff so that when the foot is bent with each step, the stiff part presses into the top of the foot near my toes. It was uncomfortable the first couple days but since I didn't have a better choice, I kept wearing the shoes and it seems to be breaking in and is less stiff - after about a week now, I hardly notice it.Fine for the price. The upper is made out of some fairly unyielding plastic that doesn't breathe at all. They look good (just like they do in the picture) - and it's nice to wear cute little shoes that look like things I might wear when I'm not waitressing. However the material they're made of just isn't that comfortable. Since they are a bit on the large side, I put in insoles to take up some of that extra space, but that made the heels really rub and gave me blisters. Now I've got some heel padding on them as well, and hopefully that will do the trick. At the end of the day I think I prefer the Townforst Jess Work Shoes over these.Firstly, it should be noted that these are wide. Those with narrow feet, look elsewhere! These are truly non-slip, and they look nice. However, the tread easily picks up things off the floor. I work at a cafe and at the end of the night the tread is completely full of meat and vegetable bits, and it's hard to get out. My doc martens are only slightly less non-slip and the larger tread on those prevents this issue. In terms of comfort, these are decent. They have lots of padding in the soles. As expected from a low cut shoe, they lack ankle support, so if you have bad joints I would not recommend these.Overall, these are fairly nice shoes and they serve their purpose provided the tread is cleaned out every few days. Many reviews said that the shows ran bigger, so I ordered one size smaller and it fit PERFECTLY.My biggest issue was that I needed slim, slick proof work shoes that had good arch support. With the memory foam sole, it does provide arch support, but not the great amount that I need. If you have high arches, these are a recommended shoe. Although if you suffer from sore feet because of having extremely high arches, I would think about investing in arch support inserts.Overall, I love these shoes because they have everything that I was looking for in a work shoe. I work in food services and I am on my feet for at least 8 hours per shift and these work very well.Side note: I am able to wear them outside of work, due to the slim, fashionable look of the shoe.I bought these shoes for work since my other ones had worn out. I read reviews that said they run a bit large so I ordered a size 8, regularly an 8 1/2. They fit really well and are comfortable for work and don't bother my feet during long shifts (I'm a waitress). They do well on wet floors also not slippery at all for me. I was a bit afraid before the purchase but now I am very glad I ordered and they got here very quickly. Very cute!I really like these shoes. They're cool for work. Not the most comfy things ever BUT they do still really help! I've worn some other shoes that I just wanted to die from after wearing. These are not bad at all. But don't expect memory foam comfort.I do feel like I still need to take precaution when walking across wet floors, but that could be due to that environment being abnormal. They're way more resistant to slipping than my normal shoes so I'd say they do their job!Ps: Don't kill any spiders unless you want the arms and legs to be trapped inside the wedges on the bottom of this shoe. Lesson learned.I desperately needed shoes for work, that looked decent (leather, not canvas) but at the same time functions as safety shoes. It does not have steel caps, which I do not need, but the sole's are SUPER Slip resistant. These shoes are really comfortable. As I'm a UK 7, the usual recommended size is a US 9. But this shoes is a bit too big. It's width is perfect as i do have broad feet .I work abroad on ships, so my feet tend to get swollen throughout my time abroad. Even being a bit too big it is still very comfortable. A size 8 US would have been perfect.Very comfortable. But I agree with other comments... the black began to peel off after maybe a month or two. (Wearing them 6 days a week). I'm just wearing them to work however and it doesn't bother me too much
