I am a fan of loafers as long as they deviate away from the standard kind i had to wear back in private school when i was young. This neat dark blue suede loafer from the trusted Allonsi brand is right in line with the kind of design approach I like in a loafer.The Allonsi brand is a brand I continue to trust with about a half dozen times ordering from them with total satisfaction every time. This company goes the extra mile to showcase their classy traits by including a shoe horn along with a silky slip cover case. Also you receive a decorative printout card that has a story on it that is unique to the type of shoe om the box. As can be seen in one of the pictures I have included you can see the shoe horn which is a specially designs type with a thinner construct.I really like the tassels which is one of the standout features of this shoe. They dangle in front of the area of the loafer commonly associated with placing a penny in. I like how the tassels give that area some additional character because oi do not think anyone still places pennies in there. I used to when I was like eight and for church, but other than that the tassels liven up this area of the shoe.The heel area is unique because you can see the layering which looks like a cork based center. This is a strange design and I like it. I makes me wonder if this cork center is common to many shoes or a sign of quality. Regardless i really like the look of the white rubber then the cork then back tot he white rubber. I did notice the heels seem to deflect scuffs and scratches. I wore these for an eight hour work shift and did not scuff them up at all leading me to believe there was some significance in that layered heel design.The overall comfort was very kind to my fee after hours of wearing them.I conclusion i am super happy with these loafers and recommend the with enthusiasm.
